The purpose of the Wreck Room is simple, to have fun. This site was originally opened in the winter of 1999. Then in late winter-early spring, we underwent some changes when Wes joined the staff as Assistant Webmaster and Designer. After many different ideas were reviewed, Wes and I decided to go with a darker, harder theme than in the past. We added heavy metal and "new rock" lyrics to every page and began using dark images of our favorite rock and metal bands for the logos.

Then in late May-early June, the Wreck Room Message Board was vandalized and the site was closed to the public until mid-June. When the Wreck Room was reestablished we decided to give the site a lighter image by creating a joking "Friend of the Month" page and adding pics of my friends.

Finally in July, after I moved to NC, the idea for the "Freaks and Oddities" page came to mind and I began work on that and further work on the "Friend of the Month" page including modified pics of my friends, Jack Otpeka and Jenn Morrin.

In August, the latest design modeled after sonicnow.com's design, was implemented and some sections of the site were eliminated due to technical problems. Josh is currently working for Hoggard High School as one of the Assistant Webmasters and is the neighborhood computer fix-it guy. Wes is still a schmuck and wishes he had HALF of Josh's talent.
